Early Bird Registration Deadline: September 11th

Across all oil and gas plays, rapidly evolving approaches to completion and stimulation design and deployment have created enormous opportunities to re-enter and re-stimulate wells that were treated early in play development. Refracturing creates a highly attractive opportunity for many of these wells.

The SPE/ICoTA Refracturing Through Optimized Interventions workshop will provide an opportunity to learn the newest developments and network with your peers in the same technical focus. The workshop will provoke interaction, outline and summarize existing solutions and challenges, and accelerate new technologies through experiences and lessons learned. Subject matter experts will present case studies on extensive field experiences and provide technical updates on refracturing.

Topics to be covered:

  • Selection process for refracturing candidates
  • Frac Interaction Mitigation
  • Deployment techniques and intervention requirements
  • Zonal isolation and chemical/mechanical diversion
  • Refracture stimulation design and modeling
  • Diagnostics and surveillance
  • Future / Emerging Technologies

Contact SPE at 972-952-9393 or visit the conference website for additional information and details.
