V-Door: An opening opposite the drawworks on a drilling rig. Used as an entry to bring in drill pipe, casing, and other tools from the pipe racks or catwalk.

Viscosity: The measure of the resistance of a liquid to flow.

Vug: A cavity in a rock.

Vugular Formation: A rock formation that contains vugs. A cavernous formation.
